Picking Wild Muscadine Grapes in Texas

Picking Wild Muscadine Grapes in Texas on our new property:

Picking Wild Muscadine Grapes is what we have ahead of us on our new property. The vines have been neglected in a way but it is most probable that they were a weed actually 🙂 We are having a nice harvest despite the harrowing shape the vines are in. Our goal is prune and start some sort of vineyard order to the present chaos to make harvesting easier and more productive.

But first we need to pick the current crop 🙂

The front fencerow:

We Picked the easier accessed grapes in the front fencerow, which seemed to ripen almost overnight. Pretty easy access. Next year it will be a breeze and hopefully will fill more of the fence.
